About this reference
A practical, runnable agent memory reference — built and tested in the open, with clear provenance and no marketing gloss.
Publisher and editorial method
This site is published by NovCog, with editorial oversight by Guerin Green. The content is written from direct engineering experience with the codebase, not from speculative documentation. Every claim about behavior is grounded in the actual test runs described on the evaluation and provenance pages.
We publish this as a public reference because we believe agent memory systems benefit from transparent, reproducible examples. The code is MIT-licensed; the images are separately licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0 (see credits).
What was actually tested
All results on this site come from verified local tests on Python 3.14 (2026-10-25). The quickstart.py and provenance.py scripts exit with code 0. The evaluation script ran with --seed 7 --k 5 on a synthetic corpus of 16 entries and 5 queries. Aggregate metrics are reported exactly as measured; we do not claim bit‑for‑bit reproducibility across runs, nor compatibility with Python 3.9, nor any external benchmark performance.
Event IDs and dates may differ between runs; the cause is not yet diagnosed. We state this limitation openly rather than hiding it.
Corrections and limitations
If you find an error or have a question about the reference, please email Guerin@novcog.com. We welcome corrections and will update the site with clear changelogs.
This is not a fictional team, client, or product showcase. There are no invented logos, testimonials, or professional reviews. The site is a working reference, not a marketing page. We do not deny that NovCog may engage in future commercial work; this reference is simply a separate, public resource.

Site analytics
First-party pixel hits and server request observations are stored separately in private Cloudflare project storage. They include a fixed public page path where recognized, time, status, method, release and a coarse, unverified crawler label. They are not an additive visitor count. Project analytics do not retain raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, queries, bodies, cookies or referrers; a transient keyed address counter limits pixel abuse. Cloudflare also processes traffic to deliver and secure this site. Email the publisher about this policy.
